perhaps in one of the macros there is a code statement
application.displayalerts=false
and there is no statement at the end (which it should have had )
application.displayalerts=true.

Now try typing this code
aopplication.displayalerts=true
in the immediate window and keep thecursor at the end of the line and hit
enter
do you get the alerts now.



MVPs may give a better solution.
