Default VB File Controls available to Excel VB?

Yes they are. Go into the VBA: Tools-Macro-Visual Basic Editor. Then
Insert-User Form and an empty form and the pallette with List Box etc. will
appear. In case you don't know, you drag them to the desired place on the empty
form. But I am not going into it any more here as it's obviously a big subject.
"Using Microsoft Excel97" by QUE, ISBN 0-7897-1399-3 at about £38 / $40 is
quite a comprehensive book - but there may others which are just as good for
your needs at a cheaper price.

Best of luck with it.
