How do I convert a Excel 2003 file into a Word 2003 file (table)?
The Excel file is large, some 550 lines and the Word file is small. I have
tried "insert" and "copy and paste" but in each case the formatting is lost. I also want to ensure the copied Excel data cannot be modified. Regards DD |

Fortunately there is an easy way to accomplish your goal.
1. select the area in the spreadsheet you want do copy 2. while holding down the SHFT key, pull-down: Edit Copy Picture and select as shown on the screen 3. go to your Word document and just paste. You have just pasted a picture in the Word document. Because it is a picture, you can re-size it or move around like any other picture. Because it is a picture, no one can change the underlying data. Have a good weekend. -- Gary's Student "Dorset Diver" wrote: The Excel file is large, some 550 lines and the Word file is small.
