Default Advanced Filter : Multiple Not Equal Filter SOLVED!

After running through tons of sites and forums, I eventually solved this on my own.
Problem Description:
Using the Advanced Filter in Excel 2007+, how do you filter for more than two conditions using Not Equal.

Solution:
I had to do the following and this is for one field only (YMMV)...
Field was "Status" with up to 15 values such as "New", "Completed", "Hold", etc.
In the Criteria field - I duplicated the header such that:
A15: Status B15 Status C15 Status D15 Status
A16: ="<Hold" B16: ="<Completed" C16: ="<Final" D16: ="<Development"

This is the equivalent of:
where Status < "Hold" AND Status < "Completed" AND Status < "Final" AND Status < "Development"

Other solutions I found did not have the header on subsequent columns and consequently they did not work for me.

Hope this works for anyone looking for a similar solutions.

Cheers!
