copy numbers progressively
Dates in 2003 Excel copy progressively using click/drag (which I don't like)
and numbers (ie. book 1-book 2--copy /drag = book 3, 4,5 etc. ) DOES NOT (which I would like). --- What to do what to do??-- Excel 97 copied words w/ numbers the progressive way -- why not 2003???????? |

If you do not want dates to copy progressively, put the date in 2 or 3 fields (I think three are required) and then drag using the all three as a selection. As for the latter, it worked fine for me. Insert "Book 1" and then "Book 2", select both, drag or fill. MP- -- "Learning is a behavior that results from consequences." B.F. Skinner |

Are you pressing the Ctrl key as you drag? That could cause the
behaviour that you described.
