reduce a balance from severel cells
Hi
I have two worksheets one has a list of exhibitions that we loan stuff to and the number of each is stored in various cells in the sheet . On sheet two I have the monthly stock for 2 years ahead of each item which is reduced as stuff is lent out so we knoe each month what stuff we have in stock. The formula needs to be something like: Item one =C5 ( the total number we have of item one) minus wksheet1 C14,C21,C28 So, C5 shows the total number of item one LESS what we have out on loan which is recordeed in cells C14 etc.. It is like a reducing balance with the balnce being reduced by values in more than one cell. I can't think of a formula to do this would a function exist that could do it? Thanks |
