Default Copy Excel functions formula and auto refresh refresh

I have a problem with ms excel 2007. actually i have more than 10,000
records.

data entry function formula results
a1= 5, b1=1; -- c1==a1*b1 = c1= 5
a2=10,b2=4; -- c2==a2*b2 = c2=40
a3=8, b3=8; -- c3==a3*b3 = c3=64

but my output comes out differently.

the function formulas are the same but the results are differently.
they came out as the previous result. but when i double click it to
see the formula and enter back again, it auto refresh the data for me.
why it happens like that? i want to copy from the previous functions
and paste into new one and just changing the cell reference not the
answers from the previous cell. i have more than 10,000 cells with
records. is it i have to do one by one? please help me. it's really
urgent. thanks

Sounds like calculation is set to manual, set it back to automatic by
going to the tools menu=options=calculation (no idea where it is
located in xl'07),
or pressing F9 will recalculate the sheet

Hi,

If the previous suggestions do not work, you could try this:

Highlight the region and then do Ctrl + H. In the find box, type = and in
the replace box type =. Please select look in formulas.
