Default Save document on a FTP location with PASSIVE mode

Hi all

I'd like to open/save a document from a FTP server. The problem is that the
Excel is using the ACTIVE method for FTP while our server is only available
using PASSIVE mode due to network security settings.
Is it possible to configure Excel so that the PASSIVE mode is used ?

It does not seem to use the IE settings since in my internet options, the
option 'Use passive....' is checked.

Thanks for any suggestions

greg
