Default Too few parameters. Expected 2

I need to create a new database query in excel using a query I have in access
(I have MS Access 03 and MS Excel 03), I need this query to be linked to
access and display updated information at all times, so I go into excel to
import external data, new database query etc etc when I get to the last step
it gives me an error saying "Too few parameters. Expected 2". I don't know
why it's giving me this error, can anyone help?

hi
are you using an access query as the data source?
does the query have prompts for parameters?
this is usually were this happens.
if so, you must more the prompts to the excel side.
