How do I restore the default settings in Excel 2003?

I have used VBA to alter the user interface in Excel 2003. In the process
Excel crashed and has left remnants of the VBA generated interface. I wish
to get back to Excel default settings without having to reinstall Excel. I
have tried all the normal methods outlined in Excel 2003 help to no avail.

Thanks.

With Excel closed.

Search for your Excel11.XLB file

Rename it Excel11.OLD

Re-start Excel

Any joy?

Thank you for your input but unfortunately, the search did not locate the
file Excel11.xlb. However, I did find another way around the problem by
using Detect and Repair... in the Help menu. This restored my default
settings without any pain.
Many thanks again for your time.
