why won't excel recognise times
my 2003 stable book says that when I autofill with a time, such as 11.30am,
the am should change to AM confirming its recognising the data as a time. My excel 2003 won't do this. Why? And what do I need to do to change it? Only recently updated from office pro 97. |

Try using a colon instead of a dot and leave a space before the am:
11:30 am will change to 11:30 AM Kerry wrote: my 2003 stable book says that when I autofill with a time, such as 11.30am, the am should change to AM confirming its recognising the data as a time.
