subtracting multiple values between sheets
I have a spreadsheet with 100 values. I have another spreadsheet with
100 different values in the same corresponding cells. I want to make a third sheet that subtracts the values of each corresponding cell. I know I can set this up one by one, but is there an easier way? Thanks, Peter |

If A1 in Sheet1 corresponds to Sheet A1 in Sheet2, and you want the
difference in Sheet3, and so on for all 100, then enter your formula in A1 on Sheet3. Now move your mouse to the lower right hand corner of A1. The cursor shape will change. Click, hold and drag down to row 100, and release. If your formula is in B1, because you have say descriptions in A, which correspond to the descriptions in the other 2 sheets, then merely double click in the lower rightn hand corner of B1, and it will copy the formula down to B100 "peter" wrote: I have a spreadsheet with 100 values.
