CAn you make Toolbars Portable?
Sorry I hit enter before I finished my post, I am fairly new to the group.
Several of us have customized our toolbars. When we are presenting on a different computer in a conference room we would like our own personalised version to appear. Is this possible? I searched the other post of toolbars and did not see anything on this. Thanks -- CSAHP "CSAH" wrote: -- CSAHP |

Beginning with Excel 97 menus and toolbars are essentially the same
thing. So you could probably use John Walkenbach's Menu Maker for toolbars. Before trying anything, I would suggest backing up your toolbars http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/backup.htm and see toolbars page, particularly the emergency section to recover toolbars -- as long as you have not closed Excel http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel....htm#emergency Posted reply for "Customized toolbars" by Jan Karel Pieterse on Mar 12, 2003 in Excel worksheets http://groups.google.com/groups?thre...0a% 40phx.gbl John Walkenbach's Menu Maker (Tip 53) http://j-walk.com/ss/excel/tips/tip53.htm --- HTH, David McRitchie, Microsoft MVP - Excel [site changed Nov. 2001] My Excel Pages: http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/excel.htm Search Page: http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/search.htm "CSAH" wrote in message ... How about simply go to View|toolbars|customize, select the Toolbar tab
and then use the Attach option to save the toolbars to whatever workbook you are using for the presentation? Carl |
