Hi there
Is there a way to change the appearance of excel so it does not look like excel? My spreadsheet has all the necessary functions on it as macro buttons and there is no need to use any toolbars to use it. Although everything is protected The data must not be interferred with for legal reasons and I want to make it so that people are not tempted to play. I would like the spreadsheet to appear like a stand alone program rather than an excel sheet. Can this be done or is there some sofware that will change the excel sheets to a stand alone format? cheers nobby |

Is there a particular reason you want to do this? making sure you remove
everything, and then restore it back again at every appropriate point can be very laborious, and then what happens if the app crashes without everything restored, you need some way of recovering. All in all, I think it is hardly worth the effort. -- HTH Bob Phillips (remove nothere from the email address if mailing direct) "nobbyknownowt" wrote in message ... Hi Bob
I want to do this as the spreadsheet will produce data for an aircraft loadsheet which is a legal document and as such must be approved by an aviation authority. If the source data is changed it could be possible to produce a document that appear correct but is in fact dangerous. Protection will protect the document to some extent but it is relatively easy for anyone can beat the password protection there. To make the sheet look not like a spreadsheet but a stand alone program would make it more readily approvable for legal reasons. cheers nobby |
