Default reight click a cell without exiting from input mode

after input data to a cell, I am looking for a shortcut key or a command to
select the cell and right click (do formatting or something elde), without
using enter. By eneter the active cell moves and I have to return beck to
desired cell. I now it is possible to change the "enter key" action through
optio but I want to keep that funtion of "enter key"

You can actually do that. Before you right click, select the text yu
entered, (highlight it), right click, and click on Format Cells. After
formatting you can continue entering data into the same cell, or click on the
next cell, or press Enter to move to the next cell. Trick is to first select
the text you have already input. If you do not, the formatting will only
affect text input after the position where you right click.

eg If you type "asdf" then right click and select Bold as the format, OK out
and type in "qwer"and press Enter, you will get "asdfqwer" but "qwer" will
be bolded.

Dear Kassie
Thanks for your reply. I think I could not express my question clearly.
There is two modes for each cell: 1- Input mode (curser is inside and you
can input) 2- Edit mode (cell is selected but curser is not inside. I am
looking for a short cut to shift between these two modes. Actually while
trying what you wrtoe, I find the answer to my question. That is
Control+Enter. After inputing data, by hitting ctrl+enter, it will be shifted
from enter mode to edit mode then you can do what ever you want on the cell.
Formatting is one the thing I want to do and I mentioned as an example. other
things I would like to do is input comments to cell.
Although your reply didn't answer to my question but helped me to find it
myself and for this I thank you a lot.
