Excel should have keyboard shortcuts for paste value/format
Hi "aricshoe",
See Paste / Pasting. Cut & Paste http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/paste.htm#values http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/paste.htm#formats http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/paste.htm#formulas formulas are covered in more detail in Right Click Menus (Context Menus) in Excel http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/rightclick.htm When you assign a shortcut key combination, you might want to make sure to stay away from builtin shortcuts, or at least be aware of you might be losing. http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/shortx2k.htm Though you are looking for keyboard shortcuts, you still might want a general purpose usage of pasting a value from anywhere, cross-application see PureText 2.0 to remove formatting from data saved to clipboard, and then paste to Excel. Pure Text can be invoked by clicking on its toolbar icon. http://www.stevemiller.net/puretext/ --- HTH, David McRitchie, Microsoft MVP - Excel [site changed Nov. 2001] My Excel Pages: http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/excel.htm Search Page: http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/search.htm " |
