How to make Excel charts auto-adjustable
Hello,
I have a template spreadsheet, which includes data (several series of variable length) and corresponding charts. Every time the data is imported into this spreadsheet, the series' sizes are different. What I am trying to do is having a designated cell one can use to manually specify the length of currently imported data. But then the charts series references should be adjusted accordingly. How can I specify those references in the chart setup to allow them to change actual data series' boundaries according to the value(s) stored somewhere? Thank you in advance, Mike |

Sounds like you are in need of "dynamic ranges" See Tushar Mehta's site for methods on creating dynamic range charts. http://www.tushar-mehta.com/excel/ne...rts/index.html Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP On Fri, 20 Jan 2006 13:23:03 -0800, "Mike Faynberg" <Mike wrote: Hello, I have a template spreadsheet, which includes data (several series of variable length) and corresponding charts.
