Solver does not work from Macros
We have a spreadsheet that is shared by three users. The spreadsheet has
worked for all three without any issues in the past. Not too long ago the solver used in the macro for the spreadsheet stopped working for two of the users but is fine for the third user. The Solver options are the same for all three. They all have the same versions of solver.xla. The solver works if started manually. When recording a macro and doing the solver manually, the code recorded is the same as the code used in the macro. When trying to run the newly recorded macro, the solver does not work. There are no errors - the solver just won't work when used in a macro. Any ideas? Where using Office Professional 2000 and SP1. |
