excel file not showing
i have a strange problem with my excel program. when i try to open any saved
excel file the program opens but it will not show the file. in the menu bar most of the features are disabled like options in tools menu. if i open the excel program first and then open the file from there it shows the details. i uninstalled the MSOFFICE then reinstalled it but the result is same. i use office2000 standard edition. hope i get the solution here at the latest. thanks in advance cheers |
Sometimes one of these works:
Tools|Options|General|Ignore other applications (uncheck it) --- or --- Close Excel and Windows Start Button|Run excel /unregserver then Windows Start Button|Run excel /regserver The /unregserver & /regserver stuff resets the windows registry to excel's factory defaults.
