You could try:-

1. Closing EXCEL altogether and then relaunching to see if this clears the
problem (I know you will lose the unsaved work here though).

2. If 1. does not work you could try closing Windows down and then
relaunching to see if this would solve the problem.

I have same problem like you before. According to what I have found by
googling, the problem is caused by bluetooth add in for excel 2007. You have
to disable it by doing these steps:
1. run excel 2007 in administrator mode (you can do it by login as
administrator or right click on excel shortcut then click run ad
administrator)
2. click the office symbol in top left corner, then click the excel option
3. click Add-ins then choose COM Add-ins from dropdown menu in bottom of the
window and click go
4. uncheck the bluetooth ad in and click ok

It works for me

Default APPCRASH in Office Excel 2007

Hi,
I have the same problem but it only happens on one particular MS Excel 2003
file when I open it up in MS Excel 2007 with Windows 7, 64Bits. This file
works fine in MS Excel 2003.

I tried to remove the Bluetooth add-in but it didn't fix the problem.

Any other suggestions?
