changing default highlight color in Excel 2007

I have just started using the 2007 version of Excel but I can barely see the
cells that I have selected because the highlight is so faint. Can this be
changed to a darker color? The default in Excel 2003 is a bluish shade and
that was so much easier to see.

Thanks to anyone that can help

changing default highlight color in Excel 2007

hi
this is a common complaint about 2007 and no known microsoft fixes at my
last readling.
in desperation, many 2007 users have resorted to modifing the windows
settings but since this does effect all other windows application, it may not
be a that good of a "fix". hang in there. rumor has it that MS will change
that in the next version and make a killing selling upgrades.
