Jenn,
You could use a little VBA/ADO instead of Microsoft Query. -- Regards, Eddie http://www.HelpExcel.com "jenn" wrote: I have a new data source. I can access the data using SQLyog, but when I go to Excel (2007) and choose a new data connection ... I use "from data connection wizard" I can pull data, but can write the query to be anything but 'select all'... This does pull the entire table of data. When I try with the data connection of 'from microsoft query" it tells me all my tables are empty and i'm not sure where to go from there. Maybe you can use microsoft query to write queries from a MYSql database? I just need a point in the right direction. |
