Excel dropdown menus
 

For some reason most of the drop down menu items are now greyed out....ie all
of the 'View, Insert, Format, Data, and Tools' dropdown menus are grey...so I
can not select them. The toolbars have also disappeared.. So for example,
because the dropdown menus are grey, I can't reset the toolbars..... How
can I reset this.

Hi Rick:

1. right-click in the toolbar area
2. select Customize... (way down at the bottom
3. click the Toolbars tab
4. touch the Reset... button

Update this post if the does not remedy the problem!!
