Default Excel 2007 default column width different to 2003

2007 column width defaults to 8.43 whereas 2003 was 8.38. I need to default
as 2003 because of shared 2003 spreadsheets become distorted in 2007

Default in 2003 is 8.43

If yours was 8.38 then you altered the default new workbook defaults.

Do the same for 2007.

I don't work with 2007 so I don't know if the method for creating a BOOK.XLT
are the same or not.
