Viewer install... anyone find a way?

We need to deploy the Microsoft Excel Viewer through group policy, which is
difficult as it is a .exe file. Has anyone successfully pulled the .msi
files out of the self extractor and been able to push them through group
policy or know of a way to make this file install through group policy?
