Making the highlight or cell selection colour darker in Excel 2007

Hi,

Im using office 2007 installed on an XP pro opertating system.

Could someone please tell me (and many others im sure) how to make the cell
selection colour darker in Excel 2007. Ive read numerous posts saying to
adjust the colour in the system settings (Display
PropertiesAppearanceAdvanced) however none of the options contained within
seem to effect the colour in Excel 2007.
