Add-in issue related to Tecplot

Recently I discovered Tecplot as a marvelous tool to visualize data.
Innitially I used the Tecplot360 trial version, then I got the license for
Tecplot Focus. I installed Tecplot360 as an add-on, and when I got the new
license I tried to switch to the new version, using the same procedure. I
deleted the execution file from the Office add-in directory, and replaced it
with the execution file that came with the new license. Furthermore, I
deleted the Tecplot360 directory from Program Files. now every time I start
up Excel, it is giving me an error message, basically saying that it can not
find the add-on for Tecplot360, but Tecplot Focus is not active either,
despite the fact that it is listed in the Add-in list under Tools. I
contacted Tecplot, and they said it is an Excel issue. Please advise.

Add-in issue related to Tecplot

I'm not familiar with this particular add-in but I find sometimes in
situations like this that the only thing that helps is to uninstall/delete
everything relative to the Add-in and start over.......
