how to allow other users to make changes for some perticular cells
hello
in my office we are trying to figure out how to allow other users to make changes and save changes only for some perticular cells. if we share the work book, any user can change anything and any cell in the whole workbook. but we dont want to do that. we just want to allow all users to save some perticular cells. plz help me to solve this problem i will highly appreaciate it Thanks |

If you protect the workbook first, then share it, you should be able to do what you are looking for. In XL2003, select Tools|Protection|Allow Users To Edit Ranges Then share your workbook.
