Default how do i set up analysis toolpack?

I did the whole go to tools, clicked on add-ins and checked off analysis
toolpack; but for some reason it will not install. Am I to have a disc for
this? In what way can I install this portion of excel? Need it urgently for
school...Thanks!

It's on the installation disc, so you will likely need to put that in before
you do as you just said.

You do not "install" the ATP from ToolsAdd-ins.

You "load" it from ToolsAdd-ins.

How do you know it is not loaded? Do you get some sort of error message?

Do you not see ToolsData Analysis?

If the ATP is listed in ToolsAdd-ins and you get no error message when you
checkmark it, it is installed.

Perhaps you have ToolsCustomizeOptions "always show full menus" unchecked?

You could also try re-setting the Worksheet Menu Bar.

ToolsCustomizeToolbarsWorksheet Menu BarReset.

The default location on a regular installation is in the folder

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office11\Library\Analysis

There will be 4 files in the Analysis folder.

ANALYS32.XLL
FUNCRES.XLA
ATPVBAEN.XLA
PROCDB.XLA

If definitely not installed, have your CD ready and go to StartSettingsControl
PanelAdd/remove programs and select Office to make changes.
