Upgrade problems

I recently upgrade from XPHome to Pro and now when I open Excel or download
spreadsheet attachment I get box that says "installing Microsoft excel
feature" or "installing components" every time! What can be done to get rid
of that?

Try re-installing Office again over the current install and check for
updates after that

Nick: I'd try it except that when my friend "upgrade" my computer, I lost
everything. All the .dll's for all my programs were gone. I've had to
install everything all over again. So there's no way I'm going to try and
re-install Office. But thanks for responding anyway. Pam
