Excel rounds data when I open .csv files
 

Hi, All
Please help me! I have such problem: I have .csv files with not-rounded
numbers (for example 50.20000, 100.00000). When I open the file Excel rounds
the not-rounded numbers (50.2 and 100 accordingly). Could you please tell me
how can I open .csv files without 'autorounding'.

Thank you for answer,

The fact is that information is lost. I don't know what value file contained
(52.2000 or 52.200 or 52.20000000 .... ). I see only 52.2. Therefore I don't
know how many numbers should be shown :(

You need to change the number of decimals to be shown in a cell in the cell
formatting or using the increase decimal on the toolbar

That is no information loss; 52.2 as a number means the same as 52.2000000
However, if you want to treat the item as text, rename the file a .txt file; you'll get the import wizard on opening the file and
you can choose the "number" to be text

It's very important for me 52.2 or 52.2000. The renaming file operation is
too long :(.
There are different styles in Excel where one can choose the type for
Numbers (General or Text or another one). May be do you know? How can I
create default style for all documents?
