Add Location To Look for Templates

Running EXCEL 2002, Windows/XP SP2.

I want to add a folder to the location where EXCEL looks for templates when
opening a NEW spreadsheet based on a template. The HELP instructions say, in
part...

"Make sure that the Microsoft Office Shortcut Bar is displayed.
How?

On the Microsoft Windows Start menu, point to Programs, point to Microsoft
Office Tools, and then click Microsoft Office Shortcut Bar. "

On my START/Program List, Microsoft Office Tools does not have an entry for
Microsoft Office Shortcut Bar. Is there another way to access the Microsoft
Office Shortcut Bar? Or, is there another way to specify an additional folder
for EXCEL to search for templates?

Add Location To Look for Templates

I think Office XP (2002) killed the Office Shortcut bar--but it sounds like the
note in help was missed.

But the good news is that you can still do what you want through MSWord.

Open MSWord
Tools|Options|File Locations tab
And change workgroup templates to what you want.

Excel will use that setting, too.

Thanks Dave, that did the trick.
