When Excel refuses to take the formula and tells you something is wrong
acknowledge and hit OK then............. Click in the formula bar and place an apostrophe left of the = sign. This will turn the formula to a text string for later editing. To save any other changes I have made, I have to delete the formula. I would like to save the workbook with the incorrect formula intact so I can return to it and fix it at a later date. |
