"tools" "options" ( such as automatice Save to file) as EXcel still looks for the old network directory. Is reconnecting to the network my only option?? |

Select: TOOLS...OPTIONS...(Select the GENERAL Tab)...Then change the entry besides the label..."Default File Location" That should do it for ya. |

I have tried that but every time I try to open the General tab is says
"cannot find M\data file" as i no longer have an "M" directory!! ie it won't let me make changes because I no longer have an M directory "Mark" wrote: Mel Ackerman wrote: I have moved my computer from a network to home and cannot change the EXcel "tools" "options" ( such as automatice Save to file) as EXcel still looks for the old network directory. It should free things up. I assume you dont need the drive anylonger anyhow. Even if you do you can always remap it later. |
