Is there a way to copy every 4th cell
Assuming that Sheet1, A2:A100, contains the data, try the following...
1) To return every 4th cell, starting with the first cell in the range... C2, copied down: =INDEX(Sheet1!$A$2:$A$100,ROWS($C$2:C2)*4-4+1) 2) To return every 4th cell, starting with the fourth cell in the range... C2, copied down: =INDEX(Sheet1!$A$2:$A$100,ROWS($C$2:C2)*4) Hope this helps! Thanks Domenic. This worked well. The first answer was too difficult
because I have a few thousand entries to sort through but your formula worked well.
