Validation for multiple sheets?
Is there a way to use validation over multiple sheets? When I select
several sheets in a workbook validation isn't offered under Data. I was hoping it would work like formatting over multiple sheets. John |

I would like a faster way. I can't use copy because there is data in some of the columns in some of the sheets. I just learned about validation. I should have set this up before using the sheets. Validation for multiple sheets?
Copy the columns with validation on the first sheet
On the next sheet, select the columns where you want to apply the validation Choose EditPaste Special, select Validation, and click OK On subsequent sheets, select the columns where you want to apply the validation, and press the F4 key, to repeat the paste special. And if all sheets have the same layout, you can group them, then use
paste special to apply validation to all sheets simultaneously. John wrote: Franz Verga wrote: John wrote: Is there a way to use validation over multiple sheets?
