removing gridlines in Excel spreadsheet
how do I remove gridlines in one particular column so that they do not appear
in my print out--this column will include a heading that will be placed vertically in that column. |

You might like to check out Format | Cells | Alignment (tab) and then
Orientation 90 degrees for that cell. The gridlines are either on or off - you can turn them off the printout by File | Page Setup | Sheet (tab) and uncheck Gridlines about half-way down the panel. You can also turn them off the display by Tools | Options | View (tab) and uncheck Gridlines near the bottom of the panel. You now have much more flexibility by using Format | Cells | Border (tab) - putting borders around those cells where you need them. Hope this helps. Pete |
