save a spreadsheet file with same name but different version

We are trying to make some changes to a spreadsheet then save it back with
the same name but a different version, there is an option in Word to do this
but not in Excel (under File) - As there is a toolbar button for 'version
history' there should be a wy to do this but we can't find anything about i

First, You should use Save As instead of Save and give a new name to your
workbook. Secondly, when you will save your workbook check for the "Save As
Type" drop-down list in the bottom of the dialog box. Here you can use the
different version by scrolling down.

Hope you will find it. Let us know, if it works.
