I copied some financial information from a website, into Excel 2003 (WinXP
Home). Some of the cells in both the website and now in Excel appear with a padlock at the left edge. When I edit the cell and delete the text contained, the padlock remains, The bottom cell of the copied column has a circle with a diagonal slash through it. I assume these were some kind of security, but I have no idea of the details Please advise -- PT |
