freeze panes?
Not sure exactly how this works on an the MAC version, but in the windows
version, highlight the rows or columns you want to freeze, then the freeze panes option should be available to you. Freeze Panes will be unavailable(grayed out) if the Workbook is protected for
Windows and Structure. Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP On Fri, 31 Mar 2006 20:46:02 -0800, gregp22 wrote: i have an apple laptop, and i'm trying to use the 'freeze panes' feature on a spreadsheet. for some reason, when i go to window, the freeze pane option is faded. how do i get it to work? |

You can, however, turn off protection, freeze panes, and turn protection back on.
The Freeze Panes will remain in effect you just can't turn it on or off when protected. "Gord Dibben" <gorddibbATshawDOTca wrote ...
