I copied a URL into an Excel worksheet. I'm networked, using a Dell D410,
2003 Excel and XP pro. I've never seen this before. I checked the hyperlink help stuff, and the only ref I find is "To select a cell that contains a HYPERLINK, click the cell and hold the mouse button until the cursor becomes a cross, then release the mouse button" - gee, that's swell and really terrific, but the cursor becomes a cross on mouseover, and I can't figure out why. I'd like this cross to go away!! (we don't need no stinking crosses) Any comments or suggestions? Please help me with this, it's driving me nuts!! Thanks so much. Mark aka Brainless in Boston |
