Squiggly line to show more dramatic results?
If you will refer to my screenshot, I'd like to make the graph appear more dramatic. The y values on the left go from 0-30,000. Is there anyway to make the y values skip a few thousand and scaling it so it looks more dramatic? +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ |Filename: excel.jpg | |Download: http://www.excelforum.com/attachment.php?postid=4465 | +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ -- kelp ------------------------------------------------------------------------ kelp's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=32506 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=522933 |
Squiggly line to show more dramatic results?
Hi, If you select the chart, then select the axis you want to adjust, you can then right-click and select 'Format Axis'. You will find a 'Scale' tab where you can set minimum and maximum values, or change the scale. The easiest thing for you to do would change the the minimum number of fatalities...so the chart occupies space on the entire axis. Hope this helps Rob -- systemx ------------------------------------------------------------------------ systemx's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=29254 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=522933 |

That's perfect. Just in time, too. Thank you very much. -- kelp ------------------------------------------------------------------------ kelp's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=32506 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=522933 |
