Look up function
I have a workbook with 2 worksheets (Sheet1) and (Sheet2). I need to look at (Sheet1) cell (AL3) if this cell is blank I then need to look at Cells (F3) and (G3) to determine which row I need to use in (sheet2). I would be greatful for any help Simon -- swestwood ------------------------------------------------------------------------ swestwood's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=31323 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=520108 |

Can you elaborate on
"I then need to look at Cells (F3) and (G3) to determine which row I need to use in (sheet2)" ? Give us one or two examples of values in F3 and G3 and what happens next. best wishes -- Bernard V Liengme www.stfx.ca/people/bliengme remove caps from email "swestwood" wrote in message ... I agree with Bernard Liengme a clarification is necessary, but it sounds like
your trying to combine a (vertical lookup) with an (if statement), try this link towards the bottom of the page. http://www.contextures.com/xlFunctions02.html "Bernard Liengme" wrote: Can you elaborate on "I then need to look at Cells (F3) and (G3) to determine which row I need to use in (sheet2)" ?
