Default Removing a blank cell between data

I have imported data into excel and in the resulting worksheet column A
contains zip codes. The zip codes are one cell above the coordinating row of
data that I need to work with. How do I move the zip codes down one cell to
line up with the rest of the row. My worksheet is over 100 rows of data.
