![]() I've used Excel formulas in a basic way (sums, averages, divisions, and multiplication of cell data) for about a year. I came across this formula today for a project I need to complete. I've never seen the "SUMIF" or the dollar symbol, OR the ampersand! After hilighting the formula to see if I could just figure it out, I'm stumped. Any chance someone could explain what function these symbols serve Here is the formula =SUMIF($D$3:$D$28,"="&$C38,H$3:H$28) ![]() -- Emil0 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Emil0's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=31232 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=508999 |
