Getting Started Pane
Is there anyway to keep the Task pane open all the time, so I have access to
the information on it? I know after I start using a workbook and the pane goes away that I can press ctrl+f1 to get it back, but I would like it to stay on all the time. Is there some way to do this? Any help appreciated. TIA Sarge |
Getting Started Pane

If you know how to use the registry editor (Start-Run "Regedit") add the Dword item "DoNotDismissFileNewTaskPane" under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\C ommon\General and assign it the value 1. ==== 11.0 is xl2003. You'd use 10.0 for xl2002. Sarge wrote: Is there anyway to keep the Task pane open all the time, so I have access to the information on it?
