Adjustments

If i want to adjust the space in in one or two cells how
can i do this if i don't want the whole column adjust
just two rows?

JulieD

Hi Andy

the only way to achieve this is to merge cells (select the cells and click
on the merge & center icon on the toolbar or choose format / cells -
alignment tab) however, it is not a good idea to do this as it can cause
problems later with sorting & filtering etc ...

Cheers

JE McGimpsey

Column width is a property of the column, not individual cells.

You can merge cells, but that almost always starts the decline and fall
of the worksheet as a usable instrument, as it adversely affects
formatting, sorting, filtering, etc.

If you want to center across two columns, select the columns, choose
Format/Cells/Alignment and select "Center across selection" from the
Horizontal alignment dropdown.
