Hi kiran

according to Help (ver 2003)

"You can apply filters to only one range on a worksheet at a time"

The filter arrows will all be in the same row???

You can apply the filter to A:H and hide the arrow in column F if you run a
little macro.

Debra Dalgleish has some sample code at:
http://www.contextures.com/xlautofilter03.html#Hide
