How do you convert an excel doc into a microsoft word doc?

There is no conversion per se however you can open the excel file in word
using fileopen or you can copy and paste.

Um Excel uses *numbers*, and Word uses *words*. Why would you want to
convert an Excel file to a Word document in the first place?
