Help please!

I use Excel 2000 on WinXP Home Edition and when I add new TTF fonts they
either don't appear in the drop down box or only a few do.

Is there a maximum number of fonts permissible in Excel or is there a way to
increase the number allowed?

Any help would be appreciated.

When you added the fonts, did you go to Control Panel, Fonts and install
them?

Don,

I have tried through Control panel which says they have been installed and
indeed they are visible in the fonts folder but not in the Excel drop box!

I use win98, so this may not apply...

But when I use up too many graphic resources, the font dropdown list sometimes
doesn't show any of the fonts.

In win98, my safest bet is to close things up and reboot the pc.

You may want to check in one of the Windows XP newsgroups to see if anyone has a
suggestion/workaround.

(Also, in earlier versions of windows, if you had lots of fonts loaded, then it
would impact performance--you may want to get rid of some you're not using--or
just uninstall them and put them aside until you really do need them.)
